4th Of July Celebration

 Story image 1_0

This year was the 75th Annual 4th of July Celebration. There were a lot of extra activites including, Cardboard Boat Races, a Fishing Tournament, a 5K, a Softball Tournament, Sand Volleyball Tournament, a Pageant, Bingo, a Carnvial, and a Car Show. Some of the activties were continued all week long including the softball tournament. The parade was a big part of the celebration. The parade included, many tractors, marching bands, cheer squads, and many more amazing things. The Frozen and Wizard of Oz float won the contest. The parade is one of the oldest in the state. The one thing kids really liked about the parade is that the people on the floats threw out delicious goodies. On July 5th, The Lions Club had their first big concert, welcoming Frankie Ballard and the Devin Clemons Band to the White Hall Rez. Before the Frankie Ballard concert, with a  backstage pass, you could go back stage and meet Frankie and get a picture with him. After the concert, you could wait in line and get your picture taken with him. The crowd had a wonderful time at the concert. We have never seen so many people in a small town like White Hall before. This 4th of July Celebration was one to remember.
